Biography
Jared Wiggins is a proud Texas native and a dedicated trial lawyer focused on personal injury, criminal defense, and civil litigation. As an Associate at the firm, Jared handles a wide range of criminal matters on a daily basis and works directly on personal injury cases.
Jared earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Southwestern University in December 2019, where he was a four-year member of the football team, a brother of Phi Delta Theta, and an active participant in several student organizations. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in May 2024. During law school, Jared clerked for the Hon. Lonnie Cox of the 56th District Court of Texas as well as multiple respected Houston-area law firms. These formative experiences strengthened his commitment to the courtroom and passion for advocacy.
In his criminal defense practice, Jared works daily on cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony charges. He is a fierce protector of constitutional rights and stands up to government overreach by challenging unlawful prosecutions and fighting for dismissals, charge reductions, and favorable outcomes for his clients. In personal injury practice, Jared works to hold negligent parties accountable and pursue full and fair compensation for his clients. He understands the emotional, physical, and financial toll injuries can take on a person's life and he approaches every case with both empathy and determination.
Jared brings energy, preparation, and a strong work ethic to every case he handles. Whether it be criminal defense or personal injury, Jared is a fierce advocate in the courtroom that seeks to deliver justice and a winning result for his clients.
Outside the courtroom, Jared enjoys watching sports, the outdoors, and traveling.
